Webinar:

"Pushover analysis for seismic bridge design - part II"

We are excited to invite you to our upcoming webinar, where we will delve into the fundamentals of pushover analysis and find out how to carry it out with the powerful nonlinear solver in SOFiSTiK.

Pushover analysis is a critical tool for seismic design and assessment of bridges, especially within the context of performance-based design. It provides the basis for capturing non-linear behaviour of bridge bents.

In this second webinar, our speakers Saqib Khan and Jhordy Rodríguez from The Spannovation Group as well as Andrés von Breymann from SOFiSTiK North America will focus on the design compliance demonstration using the pushover analysis tool for both the plastic hinge locations as well as the capacity-protected elements. Design compliance demonstration will be shown for both AASHTO and the Canadian Highway Bridge design Code-based criteria.

Date and time:

  • Friday, February 21, 2025
  • 9 a.m. – 10 a.m. PST | 6 p.m. – 7 p.m. CET

Register below and secure your spot now. We're looking forward to seeing you at the webinar!
