Dear SOFiSTiK users, dear interested parties,

We are delighted to be exhibiting at BIM World Paris, the leading event for digital construction and sustainable development, on April 2nd and 3rd. It is an event for our community as a true platform for innovation and business, supporting our industry, the market and our territories. It is a place where projects can be created and consolidated.

Pushover analysis for seismic bridge design - part II

Pushover analysis is a critical tool for seismic design and assessment of bridges, especially within the context of performance-based design. It provides the basis for capturing non-linear behaviour of bridge bents.

In this webinar, our speakers Saqib Khan and Jhordy Rodríguez from The Spannovation Group as well as Andrés von Breymann from SOFiSTiK North America will focus on the design compliance demonstration using the pushover analysis tool for both the plastic hinge locations as well as the capacity-protected elements. Design compliance demonstration will be shown for both AASHTO and the Canadian Highway Bridge design Code-based criteria.

Watch the recording of the webinar “Pushover analysis for seismic bridge design - part II” now and find out how to carry out the pushover analysis using the powerful nonlinear solver in SOFiSTiK!
