What is the difference between SOFiSTiK and BiMOTiON?

To provide existing and new customers with the best possible support in addressing the challenges of planning and design using Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology, SOFiSTiK founded its subsidiary BiMOTiON, based in Nuremberg (Germany), in 2010. While SOFiSTiK develops high-performance software solutions for structural engineering, BiMOTiON focuses on training, consulting, and the practical application of BIM methodology.

 What topics are covered in the training courses?

The training offerings in Germany cover a broad spectrum of topics related to BIM and the use of SOFiSTiK software solutions. A distinction is made between structured basic training and specializations that build upon it.

 What prior knowledge do I need for the training courses?

 Can I also participate online, or are there only in-person training sessions?

Generally, the training sessions are designed as in-person events in Germany. In most cases, online participation is also possible. You can find the relevant information in the training overview for each event on the BiMOTiON website.

 Can I also book a corporate training session on a date of my choice?

Yes, of course. The scheduled dates are primarily designed for individuals or small groups. A customized corporate training session is generally worthwhile for groups of three or more participants.
