Suspension Bridge - Formfinding

This example demonstrates the formfinding of a suspension bridge.The problem is approached the following way:- The stiffness of the carriageway is decreased. (The force in the main cable can be calculated.)- The stiffness of the vertical cables is decreased. (The main cable gets its form.)- Thereafter the stiffness of all elements is set correctly.
