| Description: | An elastic supported concrete slab is calculated with a small concrete tensile strength so that a crack formation is observed in a large area. The plot, which was generated with the program GRAF, shows the cracks on the underside of the slab. The line length is equivalent to the calculated crack width. Therefore also the tensile stresses disappear and the deformations increase drastically. In this example the necessary reinforcement calculated with the program BEMESS is exposed to a further load in the same input file. |
