SOFiCAD Data-Exchange
Thanks to the spread of the data format DWG, which is the standard AutoCAD file format, other CAD programs are almost unlimited when it comes to data exchange.
SOFiCAD Object Enabler
Should SOFiCAD drawings (DWG) be displayed or plotted correctly on seats without SOFiCAD or programs such as AutoCAD LT, ObjectEnabler are required in most cases. The ObjectEnabler are automatically installed with the normal SOFiCAD-installation. Otherwise special installations are available either on the current SOFiCAD-CD or as Download on these pages. The SOFiCAD ObjectEnabler are Freeware and may be transmitted free of charge and without license-agreement.
Explodeall
The command "Explodeall" allows disassembling any SOFiCAD element into AutoCAD elements. For scale dependent objects such as e.g. reinforcement, analogly to the dimensiong an object in the scale corresponding size will be stored on an scale depending layer. The command is required if objects may not be transmitted or in case the recipient is unable to read it.
BFE-Show
The command "BFE-Show" serves as a control for the inserted reinforcement. By comparing the present reinforcement with the results of the required reinforcement (Finite Element Analysis) the missing reinforcement will be shown.
Results from SOFiSTiK FEA programs (CDB) as well as Glaser-ISB (FEA) can be read into the SOFiCAD drawing with this command.
DWF
The new DWF? 6 (Design Web Format?)-Format allows publishing any drawing of a drawing set in a single DWF-file. Thereby the amount of files to transmit can substantially be reduced and problems regarding the display and printing order are eased. DWF-files running several pages long can easily be viewed and printed in the correct order with the free of charge Autodesk® DWF Viewer.
