WinAQUA: CAD-based input of cross-sections

WinAQUA is a CAD-like user interface for the generation and management of thin- or thickwalled cross-sections, bore profiles, materials and spring stress/strain-ratios. The program comes with a database for standard cross-sections (e.g. rolled steel, t-beams) and a DXF-import function. All section properties will be calculated automatically and presented in a standard report.

More features:

  • Standard cross-section database
  • DXF-import
  • Weld zones
  • Stress points
  • Point/line reinforcement
  • Non-effective widths
  • Composite sections with stud connectors
  • Variable sheet thickness
  • ASCII-export to CADINP
  • CAD-functions like copy, mirror, offset, rotate

CADINP: Parametric input of cross-sections

As for all SOFiSTiK programs, using CADINP is a flexible way to create the cross-section and keep it parametric throughout the design process. Of course text-generated cross-sections can be viewed and edited in WinAQUA.
