Dear users,

For the transferring mesh to other fem system (txt-file have no column with node number, just only coordinates) we need to have the compressed list of nodes without gaps, with constant increment equal to 1.
But, unfortunately, sofimshc generation always got uncompressed list with changing increments.
For compressing we had to imports model to another cdb at the FEA level with inevitable loss of information about the loads on the structural primitives or use the new numbering (INC=1) and then connect it with new generated lists for the elements and loads listings.

Does somebody know how we can compress node numbers in sofimshc?

Kindest regards,
Ilyin

Try this in SofimshC:
Code:
CTRL NODE 1

Maybe it helps.

Have you try to use INR (internal node number) from @Rec: 020/00 NODE ?
I think the internal node numbers have increment 1. Those number SOFISTiK is using to create a stiffness matric and load vectors.
Unfortunately it will be a bit complicate procedure to change those numbers.
You have to read the cdb record @Rec: 020/00….then change nr with inr and after that you need to change QUAD N1,N2 N3,N4 with the new numbers, It will be a manual work ! :(
