Hello everyone,

I have recently started using Sofistik Reinforcement Detailling and I am testing all the features of this addin. So far everything looks great, but I am having trouble getting the "export shape image" function to export an image a certain way. Right now i get images with the parameters "-A-", "-B-" and so on. While i actually want to see the actual length of the rebar. I added an image for clarification. In this video: it seems that images with the actual lengths can be created, also .plb files seem to have lengths in the shape images. So is there a way to get lengths visible in exported shape images? Maybe it's a setting somewhere?

Thanks in advance!

Hello Bernard,
Thank you for your request. In 2017 we had this feature to show lenghts in the rebar shape images. In the background we made many changes for 2018 in order to improve the performance. With the current version 2018.4 you can just display big letters in the images. In a future version we want to offer some possibilities like A,B,C or 100mm,200mm/... or 10cm/20cm... :D I hope you have still a little patience for that feature.
