Hey sanmugam,
Thank you for your request. This parameter is automatically added to a project and filled in by our software which can be used for postioning by host. Because of that you don't have to do that manually. If this parameter is missing please import a content pack again. It is set automatically by the host mark, please check if your rebar has the right host. If it is still not working please send your project to our support via E-Mail: support@sofistik.com

If you have further questions don't hesitate to ask again.

How do I assign member titles to the various elements in my model?

There doesn't appear to be any active input facility for this.

Thanks.

Dear stephenkelly,
You can select your rebars and then click on "Pick New Host". Pick a new host. You can assign a rebar only to one host.

Hi Björn

Thanks for your reply.

However, I can't assign elements of my model to a sofistik member.
I'm not sure if I'm doing it incorrectly or if there is a problem with the software.
The Sofistik member shown in project properties can't be modified there.

The result of this is that no member information appears in the schedule.

It is critical that I can assign any element of the model a member name in
the drawing and have that name also appear in the schedule.

Can Sofistik do this?

Stephen

Dear stephen,
The assignment of rebars to hosts is no SOFiSTiK feature but a native Revit one. I think it is a bit dfficult to solve your issue in this forum. If it doesn't work in your project please don't hestitate to contact our support via E-Mail and send us your purged project.

support@sofistik.com

Thanks in advance. :D
