I've been using revit for a while now, while the modelling side of things as always been good the detailing side as always let it down, so hopefully this sofIstik detailing add on can win me over, so here are my questions below:

1. How do you make the filled dot appear on your dim annotation when detail bars ?
2. Can you detail staggered bars ?
3. How do you get the ticks to appear so you know where the end of the bars are?

Apologies if these are easy questions, I'm new to this and really want to start to get to grips with this software

Cheers

Hello Cundall,
Thanks for your questions.
1. This is a feature of my Desktop Recorder called Camtasia Recorder.
2. Of course you can detail staggered reinforcement. If you use the command Split Rebars you can split them. Note that only rebars in one Rebar Set / Container can be tagged with one mark / detail.
3. I think you refer to the video you may have seen in the help document? You can put a detail family called SOFiSTiK_Detail... with the command Detail Layer. That family has two types: Slash and Flag. You can modify that family as you like.

I hope this answers your questions. If you have further questions don't hesitate to answer or open a new thread in our forum. :D
