I created a slab with reinforcement. ( upper an lower rfm). How can I manage, that in the plan only the upper or the lower layer of rfm is visible , not both at the samt time .

Hello Philipp,
thanks for your thread and sorry for the late reply. The Reinforcement Layers tool determines reinforcement layers in area elements (floors, walls, foundation slabs). Its operation detects the user given names for layers in the Revit Reinforcement Settings (have a look on the attached picture) and writes them into the parameter SOFiSTiK_Layer.

Select one or more reinforcement elements. If you do not select reinforcement elements, the Reinforcement Layers tool will treat all reinforcement in the project. Click Reinforcement tab > Marks panel > Layers. If rebar sets are detected which are already set to a layer, the Reinforcement Layers dialog displays. Of course this parameter can be edited manually.

You can use the SOFiSTiK_Layer parameter very comfortably to define view filter to see for example only the upper reinforcement of a floor. For that duplicate your current floor view, add two view filters for the upper and lower layer.

I hope this answers your question. If you have further questions don't hesitate to open a new thread in our forum.
