Hi,

I have a problem regarding the generation of two volumes which share partially a surface (see the image attached).

To generate each cylinder, I am using the commands SAR and LOFT (an upper and other lower SAR). The problem is that the base of the top cylinder and the upper part of the bottom cylinder must be connected by means of an interface (springs) or completely bounded. I get a message about overlapping between the top SAR of the lower cylinder and the bottom SAR of the upper cylinder, and the meshing is different.

How can I generate volumes whose surfaces be correctly connected?

I am quite stuck on this, any help is very welcome.

Regards,
