Hi
This problem might be perhaps a bit too fundamental, but still..

I would like to define geometry of a foundation slab on top of a soil body, utilizing Brics. This translates into modeling of two blocks on top of each other (for simplification, both blocs have the same x,y dimensions).
I understand that it should be possible to do it using Sofilpus-x in connection with the Text Interface for Model Creation in SSD.

Lets say a top surface of the soil is created by defining Quad elements in Sofiplus-x 2018 (area-control of meshing-single element). top surface of the foundation is also defined by drawing Quads in such a way that meshing of both surfaces (soil/foundation) match. both surfaces have their own group. bottom surface of the soil body is not defined.

after exporting, there are two surfaces in the system visualization. through text interface it might be now possible to extrude or translate or do something with the surfaces so brics are created between them as well as define depth of the soil body - how to do it, please?

this task is similar to the one described in SOFinar, 2016, Volume Meshing Features in SOFiMSHA. But we do not have access to Rhinoceros. A very simple explanation (for beginners) would be much appreciated...

thank you
