Dear Admin!
Can you tell me about forces on cable element?
Why can the cable have compression forces when live load active?
Thanks you so much!

The elimination of compression forces of cables is a iterative process. So you need a non linear calculation (SYST PROB NONL / TH2 / TH3) for the distribution of these forces to other parts of system.

Thanks Andreas Fahrendholz!
But in live load analysis don't have nonlinear option.
Did you try it with live load?
