I have a model of a folding tensegrity structure (cable elements and struts as beam elements). Not all joint releases (moment) of the struts are possible without causing stability errors in the model, however this causes the struts to be much more stressed than anticipated.

Is SOFiSTiK capable of modelling the large movements through the folding joints or do I need to look at the modelling differently?
