Hello all,

Two questions about things encountered mostly in geotechnical problems.
FYI, I'm using WinTUBE to create mesh and groups and TEDDY for all the rest.

1) Underground circular opening (TBM tunnel 2D model):
To simulate the stresses that the soil within the tunnel applies to the tunnel boundaries.
Is it possible to apply a load (PZ) to the tunnel boundaries which is equal and opposite to the in-situ geostatic stresses?

2) Measure area in WinGRAF:
Want to measure the area of the deformed circular tunnel shape.
Can you measure area (m2) directly in WinGRAF?
Exporting the original and deformed structure in DXF is one option but the accuracy is not right. Even tried to export node coordinates (x,y) in Excel and subtract deformations in each LC.

Any answer/insight/thought is welcome.
