Who is eligible ?
Any student who is officially enrolled at a school, college or university for a master or bachelor program in civil- or structural engineering.
Ist the educational version limited regarding functionality ?
No. All functionality is included, hence we reserve the right to not include some programs without prior notice.
What does it cost ?
100,00 € incl. VAT. This fee is good for the duration of your master or bachelor program. You only have to send us a proof of studentship each semester in order to get your license file extended.
How do I order and pay ?
Simply fill out this order form and send it to us incl. you proof of studentship. You have to pay in advance by wiring the money. The software will be shipped once we have registered you money being transferred. After finishing your master/bachelor program you are obliged to send back the codemeter dongle within 2 weeks. If you fail to do so, we will charge you 250€.
Do I get access to the SOFiSTik support ?
A Support for the queries of students is a voluntary performance of SOFiSTiK AG. It exists no claim of an answer to these queries.
You may send us your single questions with small and simple system exclusively per mail at support@sofistik.de . With a low priority we try to help you further on, but this may last some time.

Do I need special hardware or software ?
A normal PC/laptop will be ok. The more RAM you have the better. Software runs on XP or Vista. Some solvers are available for Linux as well. In order to use SOFiPLUS or SOFiCAD you need a version of AutoCAD 2009 or 2010.
